What is a Payment Gateway?
A payment gateway is a combination of computer hardware (primarily servers) and software (aka "the Cloud") that facilitates the communication of financial transactions between financial institutions, processors, merchants and Users, i.e. bank account and bankcard information, sales & payroll data, etc.
Are Payment Gateways Safe/Secure?
Security is an integral component of all payment gateways, as sensitive data such as credit card & bank account numbers, personal data, etc., must be protected from potentially fraudulent activities. The bankcard associations have created a set of rules and security standards that must be followed by anyone with access to bankcard information including gateways. This set of rules and security standards is called the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS or PCI). Other security watch-dog agencies include: Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) & more.e-Global incorporates and strictly adheres to all security and compliance protocols.
What is e-Global?
e-Global is a “Closed-loop Cloud-based" International Payment Gateway…the equivalent of owning your own PayPal network. Each gateway consists of international businesses and financial institutions linked to our client's private network; and is custom built to meet our client’s specific business needs, style and brand. And, unlike traditional payment gateways...each client has full control of all transaction limits and pricing.
As a closed-loop private gateway there is NO public open-enrollment. Gateway access is "by invitation only"; exclusive to registered “Member-only” Users.
The gateway owner ("Host") invites their End-Users to open a FREE e-Global Virtual Account via a private link to their custom e-Global gateway. Once enrolled,
Users can purchases and make/receive payments 24/7 directly to/from the Host and other Users on the same private gateway.
What is a Gateway "Host"?
The "Host" is any company that commissions the construction/development of a gateway and defines its functionality in relationship to the company's payment goals, i.e. payroll,
e-commerce, transfers, etc.
What is an e-Global Virtual Account?
An e-Global Virtual Account is a "unique cloud-based" payment account assigned to each User and linked directly to each master e-Global Gateway. Users can link their bank accounts and credit/debit cards directly to their e-Global Virtual account then load funds to their virtual accounts to make purchases, send/receive payments to/from the gateway Host...and transfer funds to other gateway Users…both domestically and abroad. All payment activity is processed virtually in "real time"...and deposited or withdrawn as "cash" directly to/from the Host's or User's designated bank/bankcard account.
Are e-Global transactions secure? Insured?
Secure: By using the highest encryption standards available, our service providers have designed their security measures to do just one thing…keep your data and your money safe. Insured: U.S Accounts: FDIC up to $250,000. International Accounts: up to EUR40,000.
What kind of software or equipment is needed to access the gateway?
No specialized hardware or software is required. Users simply need access to a computer or mobile device with an Internet connection. Mobile-2-Mobile transactions also available.
How do Users set-up an e-Global Virtual Account?
NO Open Enrollment. Users must register via private link provided by an e-Global approved business/organization.
How do Users add funds to their e-Global Account?
Users can load funds to their e-Global Virtual Account by linking it to their bank accounts, credit/debit cards or prepaid cards (loadable at over 10+ Million prepaid card retail locations), transfers from other gateway accounts, i.e. PayPal, Solid Trust Pay (STP) & others. All payment accounts must be verified prior to linking to e-Global. Hosts can virtually load their payroll and/or commission payments into their Users e-Global accounts. Multiple Currencies & Crypto-currencies accepted.
How do Users off-load funds from their e-Global Account?
Users can off-load funds from their e-Global account by transferring the funds to their bank account or debit/prepaid card.
How long does it take for a payment/transfer to show up in an e-Global Account?
All credit/debit and prepaid card loads and e-Global account transfers are processed and loaded in real-time (seconds). Bank account loads are processed and loaded in 24-48 hours. All funds processed through the gateway are deposited as cash directly into the Host's business bank account.
How can Users get a Prepaid Debit Card?
Users can register for a Prepaid Visa or MasterCard directly from the e-Global gateway.
Can I process my international and domestic payroll via e-Global?
Yes. And unlike with traditional payroll providers...you DO NOT have to transfer any money out of your bank account in advance to facilitate your payouts. With e-Global's "Virtual Payment Technology" your money remains in your business bank account until the Payee opts to transfer it to their account. Furthermore, there are NO funds collection, disbursement or settlement costs.
Are there any hidden costs?
No...all transaction costs are calculated and exposed in real-time; and processed at a fraction of the cost of traditional payment services.
Are there any minimum or maximum transaction dollar amounts?
Yes. Minimums and maximums vary per transaction and are determined by the gateway Host.
Are there any charge-backs?
Dispute & Refund requests must be processed directly through the gateway and settled by the gateway Host.
